England’s victory last night and the forthcoming quarter-final on Saturday afternoon has led to an unprecedented demand for people to watch the game.

Everyone is affected – players, coaching staff, match officials, too – and clubs everywhere are desperately looking to re-schedule friendlies due for this Saturday.

    We are no exception.

Egham have decided they just want to train, rather than play us. However, Manager Gary McCann has re-arranged at short notice a friendly away to Bedfont Sports at their ground.

The match will be played on Frdiay evening (July 6) at 7.30pm and will be a home game for Bedfont.

We will not be playing on Saturday, so you’re free to watch the World Cup match in the Beveree clubhouse without wondering how you were going to fit in our first game, too.

We look forward to seeing you on Friday night for our first pre season match of the new season, and on Saturday in Hammond's Bar to watch England take on Sweden.
